Corfu Island

Lusciously green Corfu has significant characteristics from many European cultures such as the Venetians, the French and the English. These signs are evident in the old town of Corfu which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.It has been inhabited by kings and princes, e.g. the Empress Sissi lived in the Achillion Palace.
There are exquisite beaches all over Corfu, some are cosmopolitan, others not, and they range between sand, pebble and rock. Green is the dominating color. There are areas in Corfu that offer a vibrant night life but you can also find small, quiet villages with a strong traditional character where you can enjoy local Corfiot specialties.

Local Area

Ipsos has many varieties when it comes to food, the bars, cafes and taverns. Other than offering local and Greek food, it also gives the option of an “all English breakfast” and delicious Chinese or Italian cuisine.
In addition to all this, Greek nights are offered including local and Greek food and drinks along with traditional Greek music and dancing. You will definitely enjoy those, whether you are alone, with friends or family.

Blue Flag Beach

The Ipsos beach is a blue flag beach which is known for its cleanliness and pure waters. If you are wishing to explore the parts nearby, do visit the quaint little village of Ipsos, you will think that time has stopped here a while ago with its narrow streets and stone houses, the village is a nice way to reminisce about the old times. Also, the old harbor has a Greek Church that you can visit and enjoy its small town feeling.
